Govin's Lambing Barn 2016

My brother Zack came to spend the day with us. What better way to spend it than visiting the Govin's Lambing Barn on the last weekend of the season? We had a great time and everybody got their fill of baby cuddles and even a few kisses.

Of Sunshine, Gorgeous Creatures, And Our Favorite Uncle Zack

Big daddy had taken big brother fishing, so I had the day with just Colton. And since Mama is not as interesting as fishing or daddy or big brother, we went and hung out with this guy, the favorite Uncle  Zack.
Zack's such a great guy. To know him is to love him. To have him in your life is to have your life forever blessed. I'm so happy to be his sister, and my kids sure are lucky to have the best uncle ever!

Sometimes you need days of just nothing but sunshine and beautiful creatures and special people. Don't forget to make time for that every once in awhile.

See Crayon?

You have probably had a little too much of the Dick & Jane books when the only caption you can come up with for this shot is, "Oh look! Look and see! See crayon? See crayon roll? See crayon roll on the floor? Silly silly crayon."

Just Because

Just because it was a really beautiful day,
Just because it was recently discovered that the 4 1/2 month-old weighs a solid 20 pounds,
Just because the toddler bro-man was napping,
Just because the infant one was not,
Just because the lighting, weather and atmospheric conditions were optimal,
Just because the camera was handy,
Just because he needs to know that if he doesn't let mama get her work done, he will be subjected to things like photoshoots and stuff,
Just because he's cute and irresistible and has tootsie wootsies.

A Puppy for Easter

Our little Jimmy is one of those boys who pretty much needed a puppy the moment he was born. He loves dogs, and they love him right back. We finally moved to a place where we can have a dog so when Spring rolled around we knew it was time to add that necessary member to the family. A cute little mutt-of-a-6-week-old pup has entered Jimmy's life and they both think they are the brother they never had.

So meet Winston... Jimmy's cute little shadow.
